Calculation spreadsheet

When using a spectrophotometer Vintessential™ test kits require the use of product data sheets and the calculation spreadsheets. This enables the user to easily calculate the values using a pre-calculated spreadsheet with decades of knowledge and data points.

1. Download the calculation spreadsheet
2. Follow instructions as per the product data sheets
3. Input absorbance values into the calculation spreadsheet to obtain the values in g/L

Required for

• Manual spectrophotometers V-140 and V-125
• Absorbance one if used in spectrophotometer function (Phone and Mac computer)

Not required for

• Autoanalysers Vintessential™ Chemwell 2910 or Vintessential™ Winery Pro
• Absorbance one using customised software on a laptop

Yeast Assimilable Nitrogen

The Yeast Assimilable Nitrogen (YAN) calculator enables the user of the spectrophotometer and autoanalyser kits to easily calculate the amount of YAN.  The user will need to calculate Ammonia and Primary Amino Nitrogen  to input into this calculator.
